More and more people are growing concerned about bear attacks after
a 31-year-old Cambridge woman was killed by a bruin North of Chapleau
Tuesday.
The attack was not an isolated incident as a number of aggressive
bears have been reported across Sunset Country the past couple of weeks.
Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Spokesperson Robert Pye
says the Province has done little to ensure the public stay’s protected.
n039 runs: 22 sec. out…begin with.
The OFAH is pleading with the Government to reinstate the spring hunt
to help keep the bear population in balance.
