OFL Holding Pre-Budget Consultations

The Ontario Federation of Labour wants to hear from northerners.
The group is holding province-wide pre-budget consultations.
There are no stops in the Kenora District but Vice-President Irwin Nanda says they still want to hear from the local community groups, youth groups and taxpayers.

OFL Vice-President Irwin Nanda says they’ve heard some common themes during the Ontario tour.
Nanda says people are looking for equality and folks are tired that all of the cuts being made are to people without the money.
He says feedback suggests there’s no balance between the rich and poor right now.
All of the findings will be compiled in a final report that will be handed over to the provincial Government.
The only northwestern Ontario stop in consultations was last night in Thunder Bay.
