One New COVID Case; Active Numbers Drop One

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting four active cases of COVID-19.

There was one new positive today and that comes from the Dryden/Red Lake region.

One active case from the Kenora region is currently isolating outside the catchment area, while one case from the District of Rainy River is no longer considered a case.

Ontario numbers dropped to 486 new cases with 372 of those not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 114 are in fully vaccinated individuals.

295 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 and 268 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 27 are fully vaccinated.

156 people are in ICU with 149 not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and seven are fully vaccinated.
