The City of Dryden says time has been extended for anyone interested in being a Trustee with the Northwest Catholic District School Board.
Kathy Bryck was the only one to file her papers before last Friday’s deadline and one seat remains open.
City Clerk Debra Kincaid says under the provincial Municipal Act, she is now calling for additional nominations to fill the vacancy.
Kincaid says you must be a resident of the area where the school board covers, a Roman Catholic, a Catholic School supporter, and at least 18 years of age.
Kincaid notes anyone interested in the position can register at the Clerk’s Office at City Hall from 9:00am until 2:00pm Wednesday.
The required fee for a School Board Trustee is $100.
