Provincial Police say a Wisconsin man who died in the Upsala area last week suffered a medical event while in the water.
57-year-old Daniel Hesselberg of Onalaska had been attempting to retrieve a boat that went adrift on Sparkling Lake last Tuesday, but suddenly stopped swimming and went under water.
Another man who was with him was left stranded on Breeze Point Island until other boaters showed up three days later to provide assistance.
