The Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is starting a “community policing committee”.
Constable Erin Huckell says it’s volunteer position that allows members of the public to come together and discuss things in the community they would like to change. Examples include making a community safety zone and putting bigger signs along the highway.
An information session is being held on September 25th starting at 7:30pm at the Detachment along highway 17.
Everyone is welcome.
