The final long-weekend of summer is here, and for the OPP, it’s another weekend of stepped up enforcement on area highways and waterways.
Constable Guy Beaudry says officers are putting extra emphasis on certain drivers, especially those who are aggressive on the road and speed.
Beaudry says they will also be watching for those continuing to drive while using electronic devices.
The fine for that infraction is now $490 and three demerit points.
