Provincial Police in northwestern Ontario are asking motorists to take their time when travelling this weekend.
With a mix of snow and possible freezing rain, road conditions are expected to remain slick.
The OPP say you should always let someone know when you have left and when your expected time of arrival is.
Police also remind drivers to pack survival equipment such as blankets, camping equipment, food supplies and tools for vehicle repairs.
