OSPCA Closing Dryden Shelter

The Dryden OSPCA Office is closing its doors.
Effective May first, the animal shelter will move out of its 159 King
street location.
The contact number for adoption requests and animal cruelty calls
will still be 223-8721, however the branch will be located in Keewatin.
Officials have been trying to reach a funding arrangement with the City
and the Dryden branch is now looking at options to service the surrounding
area.
OSPCA staff held a meeting Monday to discuss the situation and
more details are expected to be released Tuesday.
