95% of Elementary School Teachers with the Keewatin-Patricia
District School Board have voted in favour of strike action.
Emily Noble is the President of the Elementary Teachers Federation of
Ontario, and says if contract talks continue to falter, they will take job
action in March.
The Union is pushing for 200-minutes of prep time a week.
Currently, local Elementary Teachers have 150-minutes.
Negotiations with the School Board will resume February 10th.
