Personal Mobile Devices Taking Over In Classroom

According to a recent Intel Canada study, approximately one third of post-secondary school activities are taking place online, with indications that this will only increase with time.
Many post-secondary students equip themselves with devices to effectively manage their time and make the most of their education.
Spokesperson Thierry Karsenti says personal mobile devices are no longer a distraction in the classroom.
Karsenti notes they actually have a major impact on engagement, empowerment and collaboration.
He notes with the right technology, students can build their own classroom-network and control when, where and how they learn.
