It appears short-term recruitment efforts are starting to pay off.
Physician Recruitment Coordinator Phyllis Anderson has attracted a McMaster Medical student to practice in Dryden.
Mary-Anne Doyle will spend 4 weeks in the surgical department.
Doyle says she hopes to learn more about surgery and medicine during her tenure here.
Meantime, the Dryden Area Health Services Foundation is seeking volunteers who would be interested in conducting tours for potential physicians.
