The Provincial Government has confirmed 3-contracts worth almost $25-million to fix up 3-bridges and 44-kilometers of road in Northwestern Ontario.
Carillion Canada has been given the contract to rehabilitate 18-kilometers of the Trans-Canada between Vermilion Bay and Dryden.
The project also includes improvements to the Eagle River Bridge and construction of a new eastbound passing lane.
L.H. North will be carrying out $8.3-million of work on the Butler Creek Bridge near Vermilion Bay and the Wabigoon Bridge.
Pioneer Construction has won the contract to re-surface 26 kilometers of Highway 71 south of Nestor Falls.
