Police Chief Defends Tasers

Dryden Police Chief Shayne MacKinnon says despite the recent
controversy surrounding the use of tasers, he has no plans to scrap the
stun guns.
City Police officers are trained and equipped to use tasers and
MacKinnon defends their use.
MacKinnon says the taser is another use of force option that
he feels is effective and non-lethal.
He says the guns will be kept in the field until the province
says otherwise.
