Provincial Police in northwestern Ontario have located the man who escaped lawful custody west of Gravel River at the Little Cypress Bridge snow plow turnaround.
Officers with Anishnabek Police say they were transporting a man to the Thunder Bay District Jail Wednesday when he escaped.
OPP say Lindsay Legarde from Pic Mobert First Nationwas located 19 kilometres west of Rossport walking in the area of the railway tracks.
Police say he has now been taken into custody and the OPP thanks the public for their assistance.
