Power Pretty Much Restored

Power has been restored, for the most part, in Atikokan.
An electrical storm in the area forced the outage just before 3 o’clock AM, leaving most of the community in the dark.
Atikokan Hydro managed to get power back on-line around 8:30.
A handful of customers are still impacted but should have electricty shortly.
The storm also knocked out power to some 1,200 Hyrdo One
customers in the Ignace area around 4:00 AM, but the problem was fixed around 7.
