Premier Kathleen Wynne says she understands the concerns of the north regarding accessing wood fibre.
She says there is on-going work between the province and the forest industry on a stable wood supply, but notes they still have work to do.
Wynne is also addressing regional economic concerns.
Wynne notes there’s a desire to make apprenticeships more successful to spark new employment in the region.
She made the comments during a meeting with business groups in Thunder Bay this week.
