Program Up and Running to Help Northern Ontario

The McGuinty Government has unveiled the details and the application
process for 6-new programs aimed at revitalizing the North.
The initiatives fall under the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund and
target young entrepreneurs, business owners, public-private partnerships,
communities and others.
The main highlight is the ‘Enterprises North Job Creation program’
that provides funding based on the number of full-time jobs an Enterprise
creates in the North.
The Government will cover 50% of capital costs.
