Ontario’s Conservatives seem ready to wage war against organized labour.
Leader Tim Hudak says Ontario’s labour laws need to be overhauled.
Hudak says the current legislation hasn’t been changed in over 50 years.
He notes the Liberal government continues to put the interests of union bosses first and the rank-and-file workers last.
Hudak is promising to turn that around if elected and notes his party has a bold plan.
He notes workers should have more choice on joining a union and they should be able to have a say in where their union dues go.
Hudak has named Monte McNaughton his new labour critic.
