Proponents of a new regional economic development agency for Northern Ontario are hoping to begin implementation later this year.

Forrest says the group will be especially helpful to Municipalities who don’t have economic development offices.
She notes they’ll be seeking approval in March from the Province to work on implementing the new organization by the end of this year.
