The provincial government is unveiling its plan to improve and expand home and community care in the province.
The three-year strategy includes $750-million in additional funding to increase the number of nursing hours by 80,000.
It intends to make the level of care consistent across the province.
Patients and their family members will also be given more say in who provides that care and how and when its to be delivered.
