Dryden’s Tyler Langlais says he’s ready to beat through the competition and become a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Langlais was selected in the 6th round by the Riders in the CFL draft.
He calls the pick a complete surprise.
Langlais says he wasn’t in talks with the Riders but was getting calls from Ottawa, Winnipeg and Hamilton.
He notes he didn’t originally see the pick as he was looking ahead to two other picks that were coming up for Hamilton.
Langlais say all of his training is now starting to pay off and notes he’s as dedicated as ever to make the next step.
Saskatchewan drafted two other defensive lineman and already have four Canadians on the line.
