The Ontario Marina Operators Association and the Ontario
Government have struck a new 5-year deal for water lot
rates.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says the
agreement makes rates standard across the province.
Annual rental rates for provincially owned water lots
will include a fee of $150, plus a rental rate per linear
foot of dock space, set at 36 cents this year.
The Ministry will also no longer inspect and layout
locations for sites, the new plan allows marnia operators
to prepare site plans for water logs.
