The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is going to be spending a bit more money this year.
Trustees have approved an $85.2-million budget, which is up about $500,000 from this past year.
Superintendant of Business Dean Carrie says other than an extra $2.3-million for new computers for students, spending has pretty much been capped this year.
Carrie says they’ve seen their funding frozen by the Province in most areas.
Carrie says on the plus side, the board expects the student population will be fairly stable in the fall after years of significant declines.
The board projects enrolment will drop by just 60 students.
