Public School Board Developing Child Care Plan

The Keewatin Patricia District School Board is looking for parent input on child care.

Starting in September, all schools boards in the province will have to provide before and after school care for students up to the age of 12.

Early Years Lead Ann McDonald says a survey has been launched as they develop a long term plan.

McDonald says they are surveying all families who have children currently in kindergarten to Grade 5 as well as new families.

She says all input will help the Board develop suitable programs

If you don’t have Internet access, you can phone your school and do the survey over the phone.
