Public School Board Examines Environmental

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has received a
$24,000 Provincial grant to help with its environmental programs.
An Environmental Stewardship Council has been established and has drafted a
list of goals and initiatives.
Area schools will have individual eco-teams to help change the habits
and attitudes within the school.
An example would be to persuade students and staff to turn off their
computer monitors after use.
