Public School Board Not Looking At E-Cigarette Ban Right Now

There are no plans right now to ban e-cigarettes on school property in the Keewatin-Patricia School District.
Chair Dave Penney is reacting to a Winnipeg School Division move to ban the battery-operated devices.
Penney says the issue hasn’t been discussed at the executive level and it hasn’t come up in other conversations.
He notes not a lot is known about e-cigarettes and their health impacts.
