A local MP is boiling it down to damage control.
The Senate was sent spinning last week when details from the auditor general’s two-year expense report leaked.
John Rafferty says it’s interesting sitting Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu chose to resign from the Conservative causus, immediately after finding out he’ll be investigated by RCMP for questionable spending. Rafferty says he suspects Boisvenu will be front and centre of the scandal for large amounts of money.
