All hands are on deck in the search for a missing Atikokan man.
Rainy River OPP say the man was last seen in the Eva Lake Road area last Monday, and are asking the public for help locating Florent Trottier, who goes by the nickname ‘Flo.’
A search of the area for the 89-year-old man is being carried out by provincial police, the K-9 unit, a police helicopter, and the Lakehead Search and Rescue Team.
Anyone with information or who may have seen the man walking along Highway 11 or Highway 633 are being urged to contact OPP.
Police say he’s described as 5’8”, 195 lbs; he has a scar on his face that crosses his lips and is quite noticeable. He’s believed to be wearing a blaze orange insulated jacket, black ball cap with gold embroidery, a green work shirt, blue work pants and black insulated rubber boots.
