Rams Win Opener At OFSAA

Not even a delay from Red Lake to Timmins could stop the red hot Rams Basketball team at the ‘A’ OFSAA championship.
The Rams were delayed getting to Timmins due a lengthy highway closure on Highway 11 but still managed to win their first game today.
The Rams stormed back to defeat 6th ranked Ottawa Islamic 56-54.
Josh Barnanesky led the way with 21-points.
Joshua Monk was a big story with 11-points, all in the second half.
Red Lake is back on the court Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock against 11th ranked North Middlesex High School.
