The Chair of the Wabigoon Services Board is upset by comments made by Dryden Mayor Sid Wintle.
Richard Wetalainen says Wintle suggests that unincorporated areas such as Wabigoon would not be financially supporting a propsed community-based medical clinic.
He says the Wabigoon Local Services Board would be happy to partner in any project with the City of Dryden.
Wetalainen says by supporting businesses in Dryden, residents in outlying areas of the city already support the local economy.
However, he feels there needs to be more discussion about any plans the Dryden Cares Committee has in mind for the recruitment and retention of doctors.
