A new age in health care in Red Lake.
The community officially celebrated the opening of the state-of-the-art Goldcorp Regional Medical Centre on Tuesday.
Mayor Phil Vinet says there’s now a sense of pride in the municipality.
Vinet says the facility and the investment in health provides a sense of confidence in the future of Red Lake.
He says this kind of Health Centre will help future generations.
Vinet says the new facility is “night and day” from the old building.
He adds the health institute has become one of the cornerstones of the community with spacious parking and the ability to offer better patient care.
