The 2014 “Ride for Memories” for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora/Rainy River received and unexpected boost after arriving in Red Lake Saturday. The Red Lake Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion presented ride organizers with a check for two thousand dollars in cash, and then waived all facility rental and other costs totaling 15 hundred dollars. Ride organizers were both surprised and elated.
