The Regional Food Distribution Association is expanding its borders.
The food bank association already helps much of Northwestern Ontario but they are now adding Red Lake, Fort Frances, Emo and several remote First Nation communities to their roster.
Executive Director Volker Kromm says they don’t want to see anyone go hungry.
Kromm says the cost of transporting food is really hurting remote First Nations and it’s time they got help from the RFDA.
Kromm believes they will now be trying to feed another 5,000 people a month.
He says they are always looking for food donations.
