Mike Shephard will get a chance to fire an ace and win $1-million next Saturday in Thunder Bay.
Shephard is the regional qualifier in the Staal Foundation Million Dollar Shootout.
He will compete against five others following the PGA event.
Shephard will also gain entry in the Can-op Official Pro-Am, as well as attend the PGA event as a VIP.
Al Markowski of Dryden and Jim Ames were runners-up.
Qualifying events were held in Dryden, Kenora, Red Lake and Ear Falls.
