An Atikokan resident is a little richer and healthier for quitting smoking.
Tracy Jalava is one of the winners in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Driven To Quit Challenge, earning $1,000 for the decision to stop smoking in March.
The contest helped more than 220,000 Ontario residents make a quit attempt.
