Another Revenue Canada Agency scam in the area.
The CKDR Newsroom was contacted by a local resident who received an e-mail stating a $585 refund was ready for deposit.
The message went on to say they had to click on a provided link for the funds to be deposited.
However, Revenue Canada says they don’t provide e-transfers and only offer direct deposits or mail by cheque.
