Residents Getting Older

People are growing older in Sunset Country according to Statistics Canada.
The agency says Kenora and Machin are among the communities with the oldest people, each with a median age of 39.4.
Dryden lies in the middle with a median age of 38.2.
Red Lake and Sioux Lookout both sit at 37, while Ignace is close behind with 36.
The youngest median age community in the region is Ear Falls at 34.
Overall, the age of Canadians hit an all time high of 37.6 last year.
