The Dryden Fire Service will be saying goodbye to a well known member of the team. Captain John Kitt is retiring after 47 years of service to the community. Kitt rose through the ranks as he started as a volunteer firefighter on November 1st, 1968. During his career he witnessed many tragedies, but also rescued and treated numerous injuries to the public. A ceremony will be held at a later date to celebrate Kitt’s retirement.
