Rickford Announces Funding For Red Lake Airport

Kenora M.P. Greg Rickford is committed to making regional airports across northern Ontario safe.
Rickford announced $549,112 in funding for directional approach lighting system, the replacement of the airfield lighting control panel and constant current regulators at the Red Lake Airport.
Rickford says this will ensure continued safe visibility and airport operation for air carriers, passengers, employees medical evacuations and fire fighting operations.
The money is being funded through the Airport Capital Assistance Program.
The announcement was made yesterday.
