A meeting between Federal Minister of Natural Resources Greg Rickford and Ontario’s Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle is now in the books.
The two spent yesterday afternoon discussing the progress of the Ring of Fire.
The Ministers discussed furthering cooperation with a focus on infrastructure to support extracting activities and access to remote communities.
They also discussed the federal government’s Build Canada Fund and noted it has the potential to support infrastructure proposals for legacy resource development projects like the Ring of Fire.
The two plan to meet again in the future.
