Its not a good day for travelling across northwestern Ontario.
The Ontario Provincial Police says highway 17 between the Manitoba Border all the way to the Shabaqua Corners near Thunder Bay has been closed due to bad road conditions and poor visibility.
Highway 1 in Manitoba has also been closed near Falcon Lake due to a motor vehicle accident and the Trans-Canada Highway is listed as impassable at this time.
The situation isn’t expected to improve today as another five to 10 centimeters of snow is expected to fall throughout the day.
