In loving memory of “Rose” Marie Anna Tourond who passed away peacefully November 28, 2012 at the Dryden Regional Health Center at the age of 81.
Rose will be sadly missed by her children Claudette (Gene), Lonnie, Garry (Elynn), Gordon (Lois), Stanley (Krista), Mark (Angela), Della (Rick), and Larry (Lesley). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Shawn (Linda), Jason (Amanda), Tracy (Cal), Bonnie, Chad, Travis, Steven, Conrad, Samantha, Alyssa, Abigail, Monica, Mandy, Kiana and Cole and her great-grandchildren Kallie, Piper, Randi and Laney as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Noel Tourond and her daughter-in-law Theresa.
Rose was born on November 21, 1931 in Richer Manitoba. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time out fishing. She loved being with her family and heading out on short trips.
Visitation for Rose Tourond will be held on Sunday December 2, 2012 from 4-8pm at the Dryden Community Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 3, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Velma Henderson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Vermilion Bay Cemetery.
