A scam reported on CKDR this morning about two people trying to sell a fake ring in exchange for cash has reportedly hit Dryden.
The newsroom has received reports of a man and woman approaching individuals in the area, with two reports of the incident happening in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
Provincial Police first reported the incident in the Nipigon and Thunder Bay area.
Police say a man and woman were flagging down motorists on Highway 11-17, stating they needed cash because their vehicle broke down.
They attempted to pawn off a fake ring.
