The Dryden Ice Dogs will travel east of Thunder Bay to play hockey
this season.
The Superior International Junior Hockey League has awarded an
expansion franchise to the Town of Schreiber.
Ice Dogs Bench Boss Larry Wintoneak says he’s pleased to see growth
in the League.
Next up for the SIJHL, the league needs to elect a Commissioner, agree on League fee’s, and draft a schedule.
The teams have tentatively agreed on a 56-game schedule which includes a series of games against Thunder Bay’s Senior team and an American team.
As of now, the expansion Schreiber team will be known as the Stars.
