Highway 17 near Dryden was closed for part of the night due what the OPP are calling a serious motor vehicle accident.
The Trans-Canada was closed around 8:00 last night in the Twin Towers area, and was opened to one lane around 2:30 this morning.
The serious crash injured four people.
All Dryden emergency services were alerted to the collision involving a semi transport and a mid sized vehicle.
Within one hour, Dryden Volunteer Fire Rescue crews from both fire halls, assisted 5 paramedics with the Jaws of Life Extrication tools required to remove all four injured from the damaged car.
An investigation was conducted by the OPP.
