Shake Your Booty Gala Brings In Over 100-Grand

It took some time, but the amount of money raised from the Shake Your Booty Gala in Dryden is now known.
Dreambelievers Chair Mardi Plomp says the gala brought in $106,844.83, which will go towards the purchase of a colonoscope, a gastroscope, a new examination table and a hood at the Dryden Regional Health Center. The original goal was $85,000 and Plomp says it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who purchased tickets and assisted with the event.
In regards to next year, Plomp says they will regroup in two weeks and make an announcement if they will do it again, which Plomp says looks promising.
