Sioux Lookout OPP say weather conditions likely played a role in the death of a 67-year-old woman in a motor-vehicle collision over the weekend.
The crash took place on Highway 72, 30 kilometres south of the town.
OPP say a northbound vehicle lost control and slid into a rock cut.
The impact caused the passenger side door to open, throwing one person out of the car.
67-year-old Deloris Carson was taken to hospital where she passed away from injuries received.
