Sioux Lookout Warning

Sioux Lookout OPP are cracking down on abusers of the 911 system.
Constable Bob Neelin says the 911 abuse rate in the community is the highest in the region with nearly 70-cases to date.
Neelin says this includes callers providing false information or simply hanging up.
He says the latest incident occured Tuesday night, when a caller reported that a man was robbing a Sioux Lookout business with a baseball bat.
Police continue to investigate who may have provided the false report.
Anyone who is caught misleading police in this manner could face up to five years in prison.
