Sioux Lookout’s Blueberry Festival Gets Underway

How does one decide what to do at Sioux Lookouts Blueberry festival, when there’s tons of options!?
Don’t worry, CKDR caught up with Organizer Leah Toppozini to help you narrow it down.
Toppozini says there are new events this year such as the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre putting on a street dance, and the Creative Circle will be hosting a local artist workshop.
She also says favourite events include the Slo-Pitch Tournament, Sioux Lottery Bocce Tournament and the Chamber of Commerce Trade Show.
If you’re a parent wondering which event your kids will love, Toppozini says you don’t want to miss Blueberry Bert’s birthday party.
It will include face-painting, hay rides, bouncy castles and visits from Cinderella and Shrek.
